Problem Faucet
I purchased 2 of these faucets & returned both; not impressed with Kohler thus far! The first one (from Home Depot) was all dinged up & the spout seemed very stiff, I didn't even install it. The second one (from Amazon) seemed very stiff as well, however I thought when I tightened it down the spout would pivot, wrong! I tightened it so tight I thought I would crack my NEW glass countertops! I called Kohler & they said I would need to replace the "O" rings & were going to send out a kit. Sorry, I don't want to do maint. on a new faucet & besides it didn't fit my Brita faucet mount filter, which is a must have for me! On the cold water supply line that the manuf. date was 08/13/07! On the good side it was easy to install except the gasket wasn't fixed & kept dislodging! I ended up purchasing a Moen Model #7423 which was simple install & it fits my Brita! Very pleased with that purchase.
