Leaky Faucet; Customer No Service
After less than 4 years, this faucet flooded the area under our kitchen sink. My husband bought the Delta repair kit from Home Depot - still leaks. I called Delta Customer Service to find out how to fix a leak from the inside of the faucet, which is not accessible, to be told that the faucet is defective and they would send another one. When I explained that I was not sure if I could find the receipt, the rep told me to send in proof of home ownership with pictures of the faucet.

I received an email after I emailed pictures of the faucet and my town tax bill, which clearly states my name on it. I received a reply informing me that a tax bill does not prove home ownership, but even if it did, it wouldn't be acceptable. I guess there are many people jumping to pay tax bills on houses that they don't own. The email stated that I either need the original receipt or I need new construction paperwork and a picture of the installed faucet. Absolutely ridiculous, things...
