Having well water, I have replaced my kitchen faucet four times in seven years. I have bought Moen every time. They just haven't held up. I thought I would try a Grohe this time around, hoping for a better product. This new faucet was over $400.00 and I was hoping it would be great.I replaced all of my bathroom faucets to Moen. I thought for the main floor bathroom I would get the Grohe faucet. Wow, what a difference when turning the water on and off. Grohe makes a great smooth system. When I received the kitchen faucet, the metal was like a sprayed on silver overlay. I was very disappointed and returned it. I think the chrome means that is what it is. I'm now going to get the stainless steel to avoid that cheap look. They are expensive faucets and I hope it will hold up to my well water.
