Moen Brantford Faucet Excellent Buy
This faucet replaces a Kohler Fairfax faucet that I had for 11 years. The Moen Brantford has a couple advantages. The arc is higher so it is easier to work on pots etc. The faucet uses a cartridge to control water flow so there are no black rubber O rings inside the body like the Kohler Fairfax - the O rings had to be replaced every few months which required taking the faucet apart. My hope is that I don't have that issue with the new Moen Brantford. The new faucet was installed by a plumber but did not appear to be a difficult job and it went smoothly and easily. This faucet has a much larger bracket that tightens the faucet to the sink body. This faucet was a bit expensive but it was much cheaper at Amazon than at my local Home Depot or Lowe's or Ferguson's and it arrived in two days which was about 4-5 days faster than any of my local plumbing outlets could provide it. All in all, excellent buy. I just hope it last a long time without too much maintenance. We will have to...
